The final day - what's ahead

We have crossed the divide and today we go down into the bright and terrible desert, and across the desert to the mountains again, into the rich California Valleys. It's going to another hot one if last night is a pointer. Our fearless leader has us up before dawn. Posts may be later today as we are booked for dinner on the Pier about our ETA on the beach
