Day 11 - Gallup NM to Holbrook Arizona

Today we ran out of the striking features on the lanscape into the far horizons of Arizona. Into Indian country, the petrified forest and the painted desert. Rode some very basic roads, saw some dead ends of the original route 66, defunct bridges and fading wayside sites
The old indian in the trading store told me the moved this sign about 100 metres from the true point because the background to taking this picture was all the commercial buildings, good on them. Said his name was Jo, not likely
Jo's shop, did a little damage in there
Old track, sealed and unsealed
The far horizon
The painted desert
in the absolute middle of nowhere
Petrified tree
it just goes on and on
Entering Holbrook
