Day 13 Grand Canyon on the train

Today was a special treat all provided by Bryan, on the Grand Canyon Railway to the canyon. Jay and I got to sit in the dome car going up and in the special lounge car coming back. A big thank you to Bryan for the whole Williams visit.
It is impossible to capture the scale of the canyon. It's about 1 mile deep. The South Rim that we were on today is at about 7,000 feet.
The North Rim is at 8,300 feet, yet when you look across the +1,000 foot difference is not apparent.
We walked about 5km today, it was hot. We did the geology lesson by walking the 2 billion year timeline along the South Rim from the central village to the Geology museum.
